Incentive Programs Energy Upgrade California -- Whole House Upgrade Rebates Cash for Appliances **Limited Time Only**
Energy Upgrade California -- Whole House Upgrade Rebates PG&E has launched bundled rebates for energy upgrades to existing homes. Homes with low attic insulation levels, leaky air ducts, and air leaks in the home can qualify for a $1,000 rebate. Higher levels of energy efficiency upgrades can qualify for up to $3,500 in rebates! The "Basic" program includes pre-qualification testing for combustion safety issues and air leakage, upgrades to attic insulation, duct sealing, air sealing, and if not already present, hot pipe insulation, water heater insulation, low-flow showerheads, and carbon monoxide and smoke alarms. The "Performance" program can include a mix of upgrades, such as efficient furnace, duct system, water heater, windows, and wall and floor insulation. Cash for Appliances **Limited Time Only** Through the California Cash for Appliances Rebate program, residential consumers purchasing qualifying products can get the following rebates: refrigerator -- $200, stand-alone freezer -- $50, clothes washer -- $100, dishwasher -- $100, room air conditioner -- up to $50, central air conditioner -- $500-$1,000, heat pump -- $500-$1,000, furnace -- $200-$300, gas water heater -- $100, heat pump water heater -- $300, solar water heater -- $750, California Cash for Appliances rebates may be combined with other rebates offered by PG&E, manufacturers, or retailers, and are only available on a first-come, first-served basis until the funds are gone.
